Applicants must have reached a total minimum mark of 2,5 («good») at their Finals in a design-oriented Bachelor or Diploma course. The application procedure consists of two steps: For the portfolio check, upload a folder bearing your name and containing a PDF with your portfolio and a text file here. Write your name and email address in the text file. After a successful aptitude test, you will be invited to an interview and to hand in the online application. Applicants with a diploma from a foreign college/university are required to present their credentials via Uni-Assist. If only six semesters can be proven, either an 18-week internship or comparable practical experience must also be proven or additional modules in the Bachelor’s programme must be completed by the time of registration for the Master’s examination.

Application procedure

Stage 01: Entrance examination
These documents must be submitted or uploaded to the Student Office by 15 June:

— Chronological, complete and signed curriculum vitae
— Portfolio (max. 10 papers)
The submitted work leads to an invitation to the aptitude test in the case of a positive assessment as “passed”.
Stage 2: Online application
The deadlines for the online application are 15 July for the winter semester.
